Careers at RevIntel

Start in sales. Build your own salary.

No experience needed. You pick up the phone, we teach you the rest. This page shows you the whole job: the script, real call situations, a normal day, the pay and the rules. Read all of it before you apply.

    What you'll be doing

We book meetings with the people who sign.

RevIntel books meetings with sales leaders at B2B tech companies, then proves what each one turned into. As a caller, you start the whole thing. You call founders, CEOs and sales directors, find out what's slowing their growth, and book them a 20 minute meeting with our CEO.

    The deal

The first 3 months are on you. Everything after is on us.

We don't pay people to try sales and see how it feels. For 3 months you earn from what you book and what closes. Prove you can do it and we hire you on a salary, coach you, and build your career with you.

    The first 3 months

    3 months to prove it.

    1. Join

Anyone can apply. Choose your own hours. You get a dialler, call lists, the script and recordings of calls that booked.

    2. Book

Your standard is 20 held meetings a month with sales leaders. Held means the meeting happened, not just booked.

    3. Convert

Your meetings should turn into deals. Your first deal pays a $1,000 bonus on top of your commission.

    Your first 30 days

    You won't be thrown in.

    1. 1

      Week 1

      Learn

Learn the script. Listen to calls that booked. Role-play the opener and the hard call until they feel natural. First dials with us listening.

    2. 2

      Week 2

      Dial

Full calling blocks. Daily feedback on your calls.

    3. 3

      Week 3

      Sharpen

Your first meetings are happening. Join the start of each one and hear how the CEO runs it.

    4. 4

      Week 4

      Review

A 1 to 1 review of your numbers. What's working, what to fix, your target for month 2.

    A normal day

What a good day looks like.

    1. 08:30
Prep. Check your list, read up on the first 10 companies, warm up your opener.
    2. 09:00
Calling block 1. Fresh numbers. This is your best hour for connects.
    3. 11:00
Break. 15 minutes away from the screen.
    4. 11:15
Calling block 2. Fresh numbers and redials.
    5. 12:30
      Lunch.
    6. 13:30
Admin. Confirm tomorrow's meetings, send invites, chase anyone who hasn't accepted.
    7. 14:30
Calling block 3. Callbacks and people who asked you to try later.
    8. 16:30
Review. Log every call, listen back to 2 of your own calls, set tomorrow's list.

Work fewer hours if you want. Fewer hours means fewer meetings. The standard stays the same. Every week there is a group coaching workshop where we play back calls and fix what's not working.

On our dialler, roughly 1 in 15 to 20 real conversations becomes a meeting. Expect to hear no far more than yes.

    The script

Hear what the job sounds like.

These calls are simulations written from real calls on our dialler. Names and companies are made up. The situations are real.

    1. 1

      Permission

"It's a cold call. You can hang up, or give me 2 minutes and I'll tell you why I'm calling."

Why: Honesty earns you the 2 minutes.

    2. 2

      The 3 problems

"Sales leaders usually bring us in for 1 of 3 reasons. Not enough qualified pipeline. Inbound full of tyre kickers. Or they know the big accounts they want and nobody's getting in."

Why: They'll recognise at least 1.

    3. 3

      The takeaway

"You might tell me you've got all 3 covered. Would I be right?"

Why: Most say no, and now they're talking.

    4. 4

      Pick 1

"If you had to fix 1 in the next 90 days, which one?"

Why: Write it down. The CEO uses it on the call.

    5. 5

      The offer

"I'd like to get you 20 minutes with our CEO. He'll bring 10 accounts you'd want to win. No demo. If it's not a fit, you keep the list."

Why: They get something useful either way.

    6. 6

      Book it live

"Tuesday or Wednesday? I'm sending the invite now. Tell me when it lands."

Why: Stay on the line until they confirm. This is what makes meetings hold.

    7. 7

      The no-show question

"Last thing. Anything that might stop you making it?"

Why: Find out now, not on the day.

    Prospect: Sam, Head of Sales

    1. YouHi, is that Sam?
    2. SamSpeaking. Who's this?
    3. YouIt's Jordan from RevIntel. I'll be straight with you, it's a cold call. You can hang up, or give me 2 minutes and I'll tell you why I'm calling.
    4. SamGo on. 2 minutes.
    5. YouThanks. I speak to sales leaders most days. They usually bring us in for 1 of 3 reasons. Not enough qualified pipeline. Inbound full of tyre kickers. Or they know the big accounts they want and nobody's getting in. You might tell me you've got all 3 covered. Would I be right?
    6. SamNo. Honestly, inbound has been poor this year.
    7. YouIf you had to fix 1 in the next 90 days, is that the one?
    8. SamProbably. That or the bigger accounts.
    9. YouThat's what we do. I'd like to get you 20 minutes with Shane, our CEO. He'll bring 10 accounts you'd want to win. No demo. If it's not a fit, you keep the list.
    10. SamFine. Not this week though.
    11. YouTuesday or Wednesday next week?
    12. SamWednesday. 2pm.
    13. YouIs sam@ your company email the best one? I'm sending the invite now. Tell me when it lands.
    14. SamGot it.
    15. YouLast thing. Anything that might stop you making it?
    16. SamNot that I know of.
    17. YouGreat. Shane will see you Wednesday at 2.

    Outcome

About 4 minutes. Meeting set. Logged as "Meeting set" with Sam's answer (inbound) in the notes.

    Objections you'll hear

    Pay

    You earn what you create.

    Commission

    20%, then 10%

20% on deals that sign during probation, paid as the client pays. A $30,000 deal pays you $6,000: $2,000 a month for 3 months. After probation, 10% on new deals and 10% on renewals. If you leave, you're still paid on deals you booked, as those clients pay.

    First deal bonus

    $1,000

paid when the first payment on your first signed deal lands.

    After probation

    $40,000 base

plus commission, once you pass probation and join the team.

Month 1 usually pays $0. Deals take 4 to 12 weeks to close. Commission is paid as clients pay, so everything you earn is backed by a real payment. Working a client campaign that pays per meeting? You earn $100 for each held meeting on it.

    Your tracker

See every meeting turn into money.

Every meeting you book is tracked in RevIntel, from your call to the signed contract. You see exactly what you've earned and why. No arguments over credit.

Each deal is a $30,000 contract paid $10,000 a month for 3 months. Deals sign about 4 weeks after the meeting. Commission is 20% on deals signed in probation and 10% after, paid as the client pays. Renewals are not included and would add to these figures. These are illustrations, not guarantees.

    The standard

    No passengers. No exceptions.

    1. 1

      20 held meetings a month

In probation, you pass by averaging 20 held meetings a month across months 1 to 3.

    2. 2

      A 2 month average

After probation, we look at your average over the last 2 months, so 1 bad month doesn't sink you. Agreed holiday and sickness are taken into account.

    3. 3

      30 days to fix it

If your 2 month average drops below 20, you get a 30 day written plan with the exact number to hit, weekly check-ins and extra coaching. Still below at day 30 and your contract ends.

What counts as a held meeting

The right person, at a company on your target list, who turns up to the meeting. Every meeting is recorded in RevIntel. Client campaigns that pay per meeting only count held meetings.

Deals are the team target. The meetings are on you.

    The commitment

We commit to you. We ask the same back.

When you pass probation, we invest in you: a salary, weekly coaching, time with our coaches and our CEO. In return we ask you to commit to at least 12 months in the role. This is written into your contract when you join.

    After year 1

    Pick your next move.

After 12 months, you choose where you go next. Year 2 roles at RevIntel pay $100,000+ in on-target earnings, depending on the role. The skills you build here are the ones that compete for $100,000+ roles anywhere in tech.

    Start

    Year 1: Caller

    • Full cycle rep

We book the meetings. You run them and close them. Shane teaches you to close, and our coaches back you up.

    • Team leader

As the team grows, coach new callers, run the workshops and own the team's numbers.

    • Marketing

Turn what you've learned on the phones into campaigns that bring buyers in.

    • Sales leadership

Work towards head of sales or director. We'll show you the path.

    Name your number.

Tell us what you want to earn. We'll tell you the role, what you need to deliver, and give you the playbook to get there.

    Who we want

    Hunters, not passengers.

    You are

    • Hungry to start a career in sales.
    • Comfortable with risk.
    • Happy to hear no and dial again.
    • Coachable.
    • Judged by results, not hours.

    We give you

    • Weekly workshop coaching.
    • A dialler licence and call lists.
    • The script and call recordings.
    • Our CEO on every meeting you book.
    • Every meeting tracked from your call to the signed contract, so credit is never in doubt.

    Not for you if

    • You want a guaranteed wage from day 1.
    • You'd rather send emails than make calls.
    • You give up after a bad morning.
